EAA Portfolio Advisers GmbH (EPA) is the portfolio manager of EAA (www.aa1.de). EAA was established as a public law agency to wind down risk positions of the former WestLB in a manner that preserves value. EPA’s specialists have managed portfolios for EAA since 2010, across all asset classes, liquid and illiquid. Through dedicated teams in London, Düsseldorf, Madrid and New York, EPA currently manages approximately €30bn in assets, containing a significant volume of complex non-performing loans, structured loans and ABS portfolios. The EPA platform enables end-to-end portfolio management: from single positions to overall strategies for the entire EAA portfolio currently containing ca. 25,000 individual items.
A core objective of EPA is to provide EAA and its stakeholders with maximum transparency over all key portfolio and risk metrics in order to facilitate informed decisions and fast reactions to market developments.
